Provincial, talented artist Dasha Ivanova wins a scholarship for studying in Moscow. With her rustic spontaneity, she tries to join the team of future Chanel and Armani. The high assessment by teachers of the village self-taught girl’s natural talent aggravates her relations with her classmates. Her corpulence, simplicity and openness causes rejection and taunts multiplied by cruelty. The main competitor of the class threatens Dasha with harassment and tears up her sketches for the main competition. Dasha fights back against the main abuser. This act provokes a split in the class. For the first time, a group of students turns away from the class leader and takes the side of the newcomer. Having found new friends and self-confidence, 12-year-old Dasha wins the main competition with a revolutionary collection in the fashion world.
